The new scam over WhatsApp, a photo of download and millions of rupees that flew off the bench remains so safe
Imagine someone sent you a photo on WhatsApp and that you downloaded it. Will millions of rupees disappear from your account within a few minutes? That’s what happened to a young man from Delhi. There was a dangerous virus hidden in a simple picture on WhatsApp, which cleaned their entire bank balance. On the pretext of the photo, the resident of the Delhi resident, Pradeep Jain, received a call from an unknown number in the morning, after which a message came with an elderly person asking, “Do you know this person?” After repeated calls, when he downloaded the photo, his phone was chopped. Shortly thereafter, about 2 lakh calls flew away from his account. What is this ‘stagnography’ scam? A special technique called technology is used in this scam. It hides malicious code in an image or sound file. This code is so cleverly hidden that even the normal antivirus cannot catch it. Once you open the file, the virus enters your phone. How does this attack work? Most image files contain data grips of three colors (red, green, blue). Hackers hide the virus in one of these bite. Once you download the image, this code becomes active and offers your hackers to your phone without your knowledge. How to save? According to cyber experts, these are a few ways you can help … never download files from unknown numbers. Include the automatic off -making settings of WhatsApp. Always keep the telephone system and apps informed. Keep the facility ‘quiet the unknown callers’.
