Mani Shankar Aiyar's controversial statement on the terror attack in Pahalgam was still alive to the wounds of the division

New -Delhi, April 27 (IANS). The period of political statements continues over the Pahalgam terror attack. After Robert Vadra, the controversial statement of the congressional leader and former Union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar came out. In a case held in the Indian International Center in Delhi, Iyer said that India still lives with the pain of the division. Iyer said: “Many people have tried to stop the partition, but it could not be postponed due to deep differences in values. The partition has occurred and to date we suffer the results of it. Are we accepted like that?” He also said, “Isn’t there a look at the incomplete questions about the division in the horrific tragedy near Pahalgam on April 22?” The BJP Shahzad Poonawala spokesman targeted the statement of Mani Shankar Iyer. He said that the congress part and his leaders have such a history. Robert Vadra, man of congressional leader Priyanka Gandhi, also made a statement earlier on the Pahalgam terror attack. Vadra said that Muslims in the country feel uncomfortable, which is why terrorist murders commit by asking names. The BJP expressed strong objection to his statement and demanded apology from Vadra. However, Vadra made it clear that it is his personal thinking and has no connection to the party. Let me tell you that this is not the first time when Mani Shankar Aiyar’s lyrics deteriorated. Even before that, he gave controversial statements several times. Iyer also raised questions at the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. He said that King Dasaratha had 10 thousand rooms in the palace, in such a situation how it can be decided that Lord Rama was born exactly in the same place. His statement was also strongly disputed and he faced widespread criticism. Not only that, Mani Shankar Iyer was also involved in controversies on the statements in support of the Mughals and Pakistan. On one occasion he said that “the mughals never tortured Hindus, but that they adopted and made India.” The BJP also responded strongly to its statement. Iyer also made several controversial remarks about Pakistan. He said that India should respect Pakistan as it has a nuclear bomb, and if it has no respect, it can use the atomic bomb against India. Not only that, in an interview in Pakistan, Iyer said that the peace between India and Pakistan is only possible if the modes government is out of power and that he has requested Pakistan for help. -Ians DSC/CBT Share this story Tags
