Royal Enfield is the first motorcycle launched in India, the parts of which were founded in England and they were compiled by bringing Madras. In 1955, the Government of India entered into an agreement with the Royal Enfield of Britain and the construction of 350CC bullets in India began in collaboration with Madras Motors. The factory was erected in Madras and by 1962 all parts of Royal Enfield formed in India. The model launched in 1955 became so popular that there was no change for years. In 1994, Eicher Group Enfield India bought and became an Indian company completely. Eicher has started exporting to European countries after production stopped in Britain, Royal Enfield is being sold in more than 60 countries today. Siddharth Lal, who became CEO in 2004, saved the company from bankruptcy. He made several daring decisions to make the brand popular with the youth. New colors and variants have been launched for Royal Enfield’s re -marked youth, the company has connected experts from Harley Davidson and Ducati.
