On two constables of UP, a case was registered by registering a case because he did not give money to the street vendor for not giving watermelon.
Two constables placed at the Pihani police station in the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh were suspended because they allegedly carried wrong with local watermelon sellers and did not pay money for the fruits they eat. Officials gave this information on Saturday. This action was done after the order to investigate by police Superintendent Verenaj Kumar Jadaun. Jadoun met the seller on Friday night and assured him of justice. Police said Pihani residents had their livelihood by selling watermelon on the street-selling lakhpat wagon. He complained that Constables Ankit Kumar and Anuj Kumar ate Rs 20 watermelon from them on Friday, but when asked for money from them, they allegedly abused and threatened them. After the complaint given by Lakhpat to the police superintendent (SP), an investigation was ordered under the supervision of Hariwan’s Circle Officer. SP Jadoun said: “The allegations are reliable in the investigation report. Based on the findings, both the constables were immediately suspended and a fir was filed against them with the Pihani police station.” He also visited the Pihani police station and died with the complainant and collected direct information about the incident. Jadaun said: “Uniform staff are expected to follow the law and remain accountable. Such misconduct will not be tolerated.” He said that disciplinary action will be taken against any officer who does not act with the public. Share this story -tags
