I drink coffee 4-5 times a day, and I can say, the quality of the coffee present here is extraordinary,” he said. “If the coffee industry progresses, I believe that the life of the barist will also be better. It is already a law of nature,” he added. Pramono said the achievements of Indonesia’s world -level baristas are proof of the great potential of young people in the sector. As a form of concrete support, Pramono said the DKI Jakarta provincial government is ready to be involved in organizing the next coffee event. “We will not interfere, but will provide full support. For example, about the ease of licensing, facilities or taxes, we can help it,” he said. This support, says Pramono, is part of a strategy to strengthen the creative economy based on community and MSMEs. He hopes that events like this become a routine agenda that affects farmers, players in the coffee industry, on baristas in Jakarta and Indonesia.
