Increasing cases of black fever in western bengals increased people's anxiety

Kolkata, December 24 (IANS). The increase in the number of cases of Fishman Lishmaniasis, known as Black Fever in West Beengale, has emerged as a cause of concern. However, a official says the situation is not worrying at the moment. The official said a total of 14 cases have been reported since October this year. Recently, a person affected by black fever died. The deceased was identified as Awadhesh Paswan. Sources in the Department of Health said that according to the records of the National Center for Wayctor Born Disease during the year 2023, the national figure of people affected by Fishman Lishmaniasis was described 375, while the death toll of the disease was five. A senior health official in the Western Department of Health said: “It cannot be said that the situation is worrying in the light of the data so far in the state’s case; we have instructed the health care system to be attentive to any emergency, as Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh were the most affected states with Western Bay.” He also said that a warning was issued in the state about the possibility of the impact of back fever in the state.
