Haryana: A person arrested for leaking sensitive military information on charges of spying for Pakistan for Pakistan in NUH

NUH, MAY 17 (IANS). Police in Haryana and central investigations agencies arrested a person in the NUH district, who was involved in the spying for Pakistan. The accused was identified as Arman son Jamil, the resident village of Rajaka, Thana Nagina, Noonh. A case is registered against him under different parts of high treason. According to police, Armaan sent sensitive information regarding the Indian Army, Defense Expo 2025 and other military activities for a long time through WhatsApp. This information could pose a serious threat to the country’s safety and strategic preparations. Nagina police station received secret information that a young man was leaking information to the enemy country through social media and WhatsApp. Police acted quickly on this basis and detained Arman. Arman’s cellphone examination spoke, call log, photos and videos of Pakistan’s 92 series numbers. In particular, photos of Defense Expo 2025 and other material associated with military activities were found that he sent to Pakistani agents. Two cell phones and two SIM cards were recovered from the accused, which he used for spying. In addition, he also performed suspicious activities from another cellphone number. Police and central agencies are now trying to find out how big this network of Arman is and whether other people are involved. Investigations also try to disclose whether he has been given economic benefits in place of spying and that he had done such activities earlier. According to sources, Arman shared the location of military bases, defense programs and potential military activities and other important information, which from the strategic point of view was extremely sensitive. Police Nuh police registered a case against the accused in terms of sections 152 of the Indian Justice Code and other divisions under the divisions related to the official Secrets Act, 1923 and high treason. Investigation agencies believe that Armaan’s arrest can also tighten the screws on other suspects of the spy network.
