Gaya City will now be known as Gayaji. The government kept in mind the mythological, historical and religious importance of Gaya City, and decided to call it Gayaji. The proposal was approved in a cabinet meeting on Friday, chaired by the head of state Nitish Kumar. A total of 69 proposals were approved during the meeting. Buddhist meditation and experience center will be built in Bodh Gaya. After the Cabinet meeting, additional Cabinet general secretary, Dr. Siddharth said that, together with the naming of Gayaji, it was also decided that Buddhist meditation and experience will be built in Bodh Gaya where the number of tourists is constantly increasing. The government believes that the number of tourists will increase. The government approved the proposal to give an ex -gratia allocation of Rs 50 Lakh to the families of the armed forces and the martyrs of the central army in Operation Sindoor. This compensation will be given to the families of the Bihar soldiers who sacrificed their lives during tension between India and Pakistan. The government has approved a proposal to increase the beloved allowance for civil servants and pensioners taking the seventh salary scale by two percent in the beloved allowance of civil servants.
