We will continue to oppose the Waqf Amendment Act: Harish Rawat, leader of Congress
Ahmedabad, April 9 (IANS). Congressional Harish Rawat on Wednesday said in the statement of West Banengale Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that we would oppose the Waqf Amendment Act. We opposed it in both places in parliament and outside the house and will continue. To this, Congress leader Harish Rawat said it was his own view. We will continue to oppose it. The leader of Congress said that we are in a great alliance fighting against injustice. We will increase our strength. He said about the alliance with the AAM AADMI party in Gujarat that we do not have an alliance in Delhi. Arinde Kejriwal did not prove himself that he could walk together. Explain that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said in a program that she would never implement the Waqf Amendment Act in Western Bengals. He asked people to trust them. On the other hand, the president of the Western BJP unit and the Minister of State of the State of Education, Sukant Majumdar, described the Waqf Amendment Act as a revolutionary step taken in the interest of the Muslim society. He said that, despite the old law before he brought the new bill, the profit was limited to a small class of the Muslim community (which had power and control) only despite the assets of millions of rupees. Poor Muslims, widows and the people of the community did not benefit from this. Majumdar has accused the government of Mamata Banerjee of doing the politics of the exploitation, and said: ‘Hindus of Western Bengals is united. I am confident that not a single Hindu will vote for Mamata Banerjee. The doubt of the Hindus of the state has deepened that the West Bangladesh will not become the Western Bangladesh, because the Appease politics will become politics. People of the state because of the policy of Mamata Banerjee.
