Raipur, June 2 (IANS). The ‘Devangan Mahakumbh 2025’ was organized by Dewangan Samaje on Sunday in the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium of Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Many senior people of the association, including Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, BJP State President Kiran Singh Dev, Cabinet Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Mla Motilal Sahu and Mla Purandar Mishra attended the event. People from the Dewangan community from all over the country participated in the program. In a conversation with the media after the program, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said he participated in social programs throughout the day. He first attended the Kurmi Chhatri Samaic Conference in the Kolhapuri town in the Durg district. After this, Pongapal reached in the Kondagaon district, where the sixth century Shivling and the statue of Lord Buddha were installed amid the forest. Local people worship at this place in the name of Gonda Godia and Buddhist followers come from all over the country and abroad, including Japan, Bodh Gaya, Nagpur. CM said that there was a crowd of thousands today. CM Sai said that an initial amount of one crore calls for this was announced about the development of Pongapal of Kondagaon as a tourist destination. He said this is the beginning. Department of Tourism officials will discuss this and will work to promote the region. The region is planned to develop Chhattisgarh as a new identity. Several programs were organized during the Devangan Mahakumbh, including a health testing camps, exhibitions and a ceremony in honor of people who did excellent work in society. The chief minister said that such respect gives inspiration to the people of society. Kiran Singh Dev of the BJP state was present in the program for more than four hours, while cabinet ministers Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Mlas Motilal Sahu and Purandar Mishra also contributed to increasing the pride of society. Referring to the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the chief minister said that the names of all eligible women will be added under this scheme. He said that the name of the girls -in -law and the names of girls who are married in another town will also be included in this scheme after the marriage. Some names are left first, it will also be added. The CM said about good management Tihar that its purpose was to take feedback on the work done to the people during one and a half years. He said that people assured us by expressing confidence in the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We have tried to bring the benefits of the schemes of the government of India and the state government to the public. Through good management Tihar we have taken the PDS system, electricity, roads, the availability of Patwari and the status of teachers in schools. The Chief Minister described Dewangan Mahakumbh as a symbol of social unity and development. He said that such events play an important role in the association of society and the promotion of social work. He called on the people of society to unite and contribute to the development of Chhattisgarh. The CM also made it clear that its government is committed to the development of Chhattisgarh and the benefit of the people. The government is constantly working to make Kondagaon a tourism center, to make the Mahtari Vandan Yojana more effective and promote good management.
