Pune will soon have a double Decker review to deal with the problem of traffic jams in the city. In this regard, Maha Metro and PMC Kothrud are working on a proposal to build an overtake on the Paud Road section between the waste pot and the Bhusari colony area. In a Toi report, it is said that the fly for vehicles is likely to be built under the subway air wound. And in this regard, Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro) filed a proposal at the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) for further consideration. The report suggested that the estimated cost of the project would amount to about Rs 80 crore. In this case, civil officials said that after receiving the proposal, they would study the Maha Metro construction plan to look at viability, driveways and other details of the project before completing something. It is believed that the overcoming will be a great blessing for daily travelers, as it will help reduce the travel time and eliminate the need to stay on the route on four fours. Meanwhile, the sources of the state government told the Times of India that the proposal is in the final stages of approval, which can soon be expected.
