Bogor City – A number of city transport (angkot) owners and managers in Bogor City demonstrated to demand an extension of the operational age limit for urban transport (angkot). The protest was held under the guard of joint TNI and Polri officers at the Bogor City Hall. Based on detikcom monitoring, on Thursday (23/10/2025), a public transport driver demonstration was held on foot to the Bogor City Hall in Jalan Juanda, Central Bogor, Bogor City. The managers then gave speeches in front of the gate of the Jalan Juanda City Hall, Bogor City. Until 11.36 WIB, a protest by owners and drivers of public transport led to traffic jams approaching the Bogor City Hall. The queue of vehicles seemed to wind from the Kujang Monument on Jalan Otista to the Bogor City Hall. Congestion also occurred on Jalan Kapitan Musmohon towards Simpang Jalan Juanda. Meanwhile, police officers and the Bogor City Transportation Agency appear to have made arrangements to ensure that traffic flow remains smooth.
