A person arrested for raping a minor girl

Police have arrested a Uttar Pradesh laborer for sexually assaulting a 10 -year -old girl and making her pregnant. The girl comes from Bihar and lives with her parents in Rohtak. Rohtak deputy superintendent of police (headquarters) Ravi Khundia said he received a complaint from a Bihar woman who lives in Rohtak that her daughter complained of stomach pain, after which she was taken to the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS). The doctors confirmed the pregnancy and the woman approached the police. The girl told her mother that the accused, who had previously worked with her father, assaulted her several times when her father went to work. The accused was identified as Umesh alias Ravi of Uttar Pradesh and was arrested and a case is registered under various sections of the Poxo Act. Share this story -tags
