India's economic base strong, economy will still have a fast pace: leaders in the industry
New -Delhi, April 17 (IANS). India’s economic growth will be strong in the coming times. The reason for this is the strengthening of the economy, the right policy and the competent talent pool. This statement was made by the industry leaders. The industry leaders spoke to Ians on the sidelines of the 120th anniversary celebrations of the PhD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PhDCCI) and hoped that the country’s sharp economic progress in the third term of Premier Narendra Modi’s government had hoped. JK Tire and Industries Limited Chairman and Managing Director Raghupati Singhania said: “Everything is good so far. I am confident that the economy will grow even further because our base is strong.” Singhania told Ians: “The government is working seriously to make strong bilateral relations and seek opportunities for cooperation worldwide.” PhDCCI president Hemant Jain said that India remains a ‘lovely place’ on the world map. Jain told Ians: “Inflation is under control and the market looks good. We have one of the most stable governments in this region. Also the whole world is now focused on India.” Jain further said that strong relations between world leaders, including Prime Minister Modes and American leadership, will ensure progress in the trade. In addition, he expressed the confidence that India will gain the benefit of changes in global trading patterns. Suman Jyoti Khaitan, co-founder and managing partner of Khaitan & Company, said India will continue to grow due to strong infrastructure and policy support. He told Ians: “Infrastructure is improved in India. There is also a focused policy and Termaal Talent. We are in a good position to take advantage of changes in the global economy.” He also welcomes the government’s focus on the introduction of skills development and internship programs.
