A woman becomes a victim of card trading on JakLingko, the perpetrator helps to type
Jakarta – An unpleasant incident happened to a woman who was a passenger on Mikrotrans Jak 102 (JakLingko) on the Ciputat Raya-Blok M route. The woman was the victim of card exchange by a male passenger using this tap-assisted mode. The incident experienced by the female passenger was recorded and went viral on social media (medsos). Judging by the viral video, on Saturday (18/10/2025), the woman who was the victim seemed to cry hysterically when she was sure that her card was Rp. 182 thousand was exchanged for Rp. 4,000 by a male passenger who pretended to help her check-in. The driver also asked the male passenger to show all the cards he had. When the man showed his cards and stood up slightly from his seat, it turned out that the female passenger’s card was under her seat, which was covered by a hat. The male passenger even said that the female passenger delayed the JakLingko journey. The female passenger believed the card found under the male passenger was hers. This female passenger also showed the last balance on her card that she still remembers, worth IDR 182 thousand. Seeing this condition, the JakLingko driver got out and approached the passenger seat, the male passenger was asked to get off. However, the offender was reluctant and instead apologized in a high-pitched tone. The female passenger who was the victim of the card exchange ignored the apology and was told by other passengers to report to the police station. This incident was also confirmed by TransJakarta, which oversees Mikrotrans. Head of the Transjakarta Public Relations and CSR Department, Ayu Wardhani, also apologized for the inconvenience experienced by female passengers. “Transjakarta regrets and apologizes for the inconvenience that occurred at one of the Mikrotrans Jak 102 services (Ciputat Raya – Block M) on Friday, October 17, 2025, at around 19:00 WIB,” Ayu said when confirmed by detikcom, Saturday (18/10). Ayu explained that the JakLingko driver on duty at the time of the incident immediately asked the male passenger to get out of the car. The male passenger was also subject to evaluation by TransJakarta. “The microtrans manager, Mr. Safrudin, immediately took down the exchange agent who was proven to have exchanged the card to ensure the safety and comfort of other customers. This is also our evaluation,” explained Ayu. All customers are advised to exercise caution when using public transport. Customers who find violations on public transport under the banner of PT TransJakarta can report them to officers. “TransJakarta invites customers to look out for each other, and report any inconvenience experienced to officers in the field and call center 1500-102,” he added.
