A young man was creating a stir by showing a sword on Instagram, threatening to kill, the police arrested him

A shocking incident came to light in Bade Dumbula village Digpahandi block in Ganjam district of Odisha. On Saturday, the police arrested a young man named Sushant Mahakud alias Bunty Gaud and produced him in the court. Sushant threatened to kill three villagers. He made a video with a sharp weapon and openly said that he will behead them. Moreover, she made the video viral by uploading it on Instagram. The police took note of the viral video. When the video started going viral on social media, the matter came to the notice of the police. Senior officials have ordered an inquiry into this serious threat and directed the Digpahandi Police Station Officer and DSP to take immediate action. After this, the police registered an FIR against Sushant. A case has been registered under police station case number 373/25. The police seized a sword and a mobile phone from the accused and then arrested him. The police produced Sushant in court, but his bail application was rejected. Then he was sent to Digpahandi sub-jail. The police arrested the accused. Posting such dangerous videos and issuing threats on social media is a criminal offence. This incident caused panic among the local people. The villagers are relieved that strict action has been taken against the youth who threatened them. Sushant Gaur’s attempt to show off and spread fear on Instagram failed.
