According to the information, three youths from Bihar at Army Air Defense College, Golabandha in the Ganjam district, arrived to conduct an agent investigation. After the investigation, he went to bathe on Dhabaleshwar beach. Along with other fire candidates on the beach, these three youths also had fun in the waves of the sea. Meanwhile, a young man named Abhishek Ranjan of Bihar was swept away in the strong waves of the sea. The people present on the spot tried their best, but Abhishek could not be saved and he disappeared. The fire department and Gopalpur police were immediately informed about this. After this, the team of fire staff of Chikti and Barhampur and police of the Gopalpur police station reached Dhabaleshwar Beach and the search operation began. But until the news was written, Abhishek could not be detected. It is noteworthy that the recruitment of agnivars is done under the ‘Agnepath Yojana’, which was implemented in September 2022. It is a unique scheme of its kind, including the selected youth an opportunity to serve the country’s armed forces (army, fleet and air force) for four years. After this, the candidates chosen in ordinary framework must serve for at least 15 years.
