Ace Frehley Cancels Tour Dates For Health Reasons

KISS fans are sending well-wishes to member Ace Frehley, after he decided to cancel the remaining dates on his tour for health reasons. The message did not go into detail about the medical issue, but it comes about two weeks after he fell in his studio.

The statement was shared on Instagram, Monday, October 6, and canceling the tour was not easy, based on the wording. “Due to some ongoing medical issues, Ace has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 dates,” the message reads.

Frehley’s 10,000 Volts Tour

Frehley has been touring for much of 2025 to support his solo album 10,000 voltsreleased in February 2024 on MNRK Records, formerly known as Koch Records and eOne Music.

He was supposed to play at Lincoln Square Theater in Decatur, Illinois on October 10, and The Family Arena in Saint Charles, Missouri the following day. Frehley then had a show on Halloween at The Token Lounge in Westland, Michigan before the cancellation.

As of now, there’s just one tour date on his websitea gig at San Bernardino, California’s Yaamava’ Theater on February 26, 2026.

The Spaceman’s September Studio Accident

The New York Native and KISS co-founder, who began calling himself The Spaceman in the ’70s, was forced to cancel his September show at The Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, California because of the studio fall. The decision wasn’t his, though, it was his physician’s.

“Dear Rock Soldiers,” the Facebook message began. “Ace had a minor fall in his studio, resulting in a trip to the hospital. He is fine, but against his wishes, his doctor insists that he refrain from traveling at this time.”

Frehley’s Origins Vol. 3

The message also stated that Frehley will continue to work on his next LP, Origins Vol. 3which is a follow-up to his two cover song albums, released in 2016 and 2020 respectively.

Late last year, Frehley told Detroit radio station WRIF that he’d be teaming up with Steve Brown from Trixter to produce the forthcoming album. Brown also produced and co-wrote songs on 10,000 volts.

Origins Vol. 3 will probably be out before the end of 2025,” Frehley told the station. “I usually put out a record every year, year and a half, two years now. I have two more albums on my record deal with MNRK Music, and everything’s great.”

Hopefully, he makes a speedy recovery and is able to tour again in good health.
