Actor Rudy Youngblood Arrested For Assault In Texas

Actor Rudy Youngblood, best known for his starring role in Mel Gibson’s Oscar-nominated 2006 film Apocalyptohas been arrested in Belton, TX, the Bell County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Deadline..

Youngblood was brought in to Bell County Jail early Tuesday on a warrant for alleged assault, according to the sheriff’s office. Details were not revealed, but TMZwhich first reported his arrest citing police, said the actor was taken into custody for “allegedly assaulting a family or household member by impeding their breathing or circulation.”

He remains held on $20,000 bond, a jail spokesperson said.

Youngblood portrayed Jaguar Paw in Apocalypto.
