Egypt continues its steps to improve the performance of airports by developing its digital infrastructure through an agreement signed with the international company “Setta”, and to provide the management and operation of airports to private enterprises. The global company “Sita” has opened the new leadership center in Cairo to be the first in the Middle East and North Africa, with the aim of improving the capabilities of the digital infrastructure for the Air Transport industry in Egypt and the region, according to a news on the Egyptian State Information Service website. In his speech during his participation in the activities of the opening of the center, Sameh El -Hafni, the Egyptian Civil Aviation Minister said that the center, which started in Egypt last year, would directly contribute to providing specific jobs and improving innovation and digital services. Collaboration with “Egyptair” The Minister of Civil Aviation praised the collaboration between “Sita” and “Egyptair”, and regarded it as the technological arm of the aviation sector in Egypt through the implementation of advanced digital solutions that contributed to the development of the efficiency of operational operations and improving the experience of passion; Some of the most important of these solutions are: Sita Connect Go, which offers a flexible and rapid infrastructure, and the common DCS system, which improves departure operations and improves operating performance. Salim Buri, the president of ‘Sita’ in the Middle East and Africa, said that the decision to open a regional leadership center in Cairo is due to the central field of Egypt and the cost of the industry and a generation of young men who are wonderful coach for both Arabic and English.
