Jakarta – Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf, (Gus Ipul) announced that additional distribution of Temporary Direct Cash Assistance (BLTS) of IDR 300 thousand per month for beneficiary families (KPM) is ready to be implemented this month. This assistance is President Prabowo Subianto’s policy for the 2025 Social Protection Program by the Ministry of Social Affairs which is provided for three months, namely October, November and December, as part of the economic stimulus strategy. BLTS will reach 35.04 million beneficiary families (KPM). If calculated with an average of four members per family (father and mother and 2 children), this assistance will reach an estimated 140 million people. Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT “This additional BLTS is in addition to the regular BLT given every month by the Ministry of Social Affairs up to 20.88 million KPM through the Family Hope Program (PKH) and basic food assistance,” Gus Ipul said in a written statement on Saturday (18/10/2025). The total added value of BLTS distributed reached IDR 31.542 trillion. Through this addition, the total social protection assistance distributed by the Ministry of Social Affairs in 2025 will reach IDR 110.718 trillion. The details of social assistance distribution are as follows: • Pure PKH recipients: 398,714 KPM, each IDR 2.8 million per year, total IDR 1.116 trillion • Pure basic food recipients: 8,675,797 KPM, each IDR 2.4 million per year, total IDR 2.0 trillion and basic food recipients: 8,675,797 KPM. 9,601,286 KPM, IDR 5.2 million each per year, total IDR 49.927 trillion • Recipients of Thickening June-July 2025: 18,277,083 KPM, each IDR 400 thousand, total IDR 7.311 trillion • Recipients of Economic Stimulus (October-July 2025): 37.05 KPM each: 2700000 IDR 900 thousand, total IDR 31.542 trillion Total social protection assistance 2025: IDR 110.718 trillion According to him, BLTS recipients come from poor families in deciles 1 to 4 National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN). Of the more than 35.04 million KPM recipients of BLTS, 20.88 million more KPM received thickening assistance, while the remaining 14.15 million KPM were new recipients of aid. “Recipient data refers to Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) in the first quarter, and DTSEN in the following quarter (quarter II-IV) which updates recipient data every three months in the context of targeted social assistance (bansos),” explains Gus Ipul. Specifically for the fourth quarter, there were additional recipients of social assistance given to new KPMs in deciles 1-4 DTSEN (excluding regular social assistance recipients). This data was obtained from the comparison results of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Ministry of Social Affairs, BPS and Ministry of Finance. “That the process of distributing the fourth quarter of Regular and Extended Social Assistance has started from today until the next two weeks,” he concluded.
