Adopt scientific method to prevent the abuse of water against tube pits: cm yogi

Lucknow, October 4 (IANS). Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high -level meeting on Saturday with officials of the irrigation department for renovation and modernization of state tube wells. At the meeting, the chief minister said that providing a better irrigation facility to the farmers of the state is the top priority of the government. The chief minister instructed the officials to adopt a scientific method to prevent the abuse of water from being made by tube pits and proper water saving arrangements. He said that the rainy season is best suited for this. This will help maintain the geological water level and improve areas with a dark zone. The chief minister checked the most important irrigation projects such as Saryu Canal National Project, Sagar, Central Ganga and instructed to remove the shortcomings in it. He said that the strong implementation of these projects will ensure the solution of water problems in rural and urban areas. The main minister paid particular attention to the problems of the farmers of the Terai region and said that the reserve wire should be revived and revived, so that more and more farmers can get irrigation facilities. Also command to use silt to prevent harvesting. The chief minister said that the farmers of the irrigation requirements should be in mind, tube pits should be renovated and modernized on priority base. This will increase irrigation capacity, lower the costs of farmers and offer modern technology -based facilities. The Chief Minister directed that there should be no compromise on quality and transparency in the works of modernization and renovation of Tube Wells. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said the government is taking all possible steps to give better irrigation facilities to the farmers.
