On the night of June 4, there was a stir at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in Delhi due to a false combination of bombing. A threatened e -mail came on the post -the airport police station, which was asked to bomb the Air Canada Flight AC043 to Toronto. The case made the flight a big delay with a view to safety and there was chaos in the entire airport. In the immediate investigation, Delhi police found that the post was sent by a 13 -year -old boy. Police detained and questioned the child of MeerUT. The boy acknowledged that he sent this threatening post funny. He said he saw fake news like bomb threats on TV, which he did this act after he was impressed. Especially he saw the false news of bombing in the plane at the Mumbai airport and the bombing for schools in Delhi. According to police, the boy created false email IDs to send threats and sent an email on the airport police mail ID using his mother’s Wi-Fi connection. Once he sent the post, he deleted his email account. He said he wanted to see if the officials could find out and that the security agencies would reach him or not. The IgI Airport Deputy Commissioner, Ushha Ranganani, said that the next day after the threatening post was received, when the boy saw the news of the case on TV, he was happy, but her parents told nothing for fear. As a result of this threat, the investigation into that flight continued for more than 12 hours. After the investigation, no suspicious object was found in the flight, and then it was allowed to fly. The investigative team tracked down the house in MeerUT through an IP address that sent false email where the post was sent. After this, the Delhi police team reached there and the 13 -year -old boy was arrested. The child is currently advised by doctors so that he can overcome this incident. In this case, it is said how serious the abuse of digital mediums can cause. Police took the incident seriously and acted immediately. At the same time, the authorities have called on the public to avoid such false threats and protect their family and society.
