Giriraj Singh attacked Tejashwi Yadav, Waqf Law defended

Patna, April 11 (IANS). Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Thursday targeted the leader of the opposition Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar in the Begusarai parliamentary constituency. He claimed that RJD leader Pasmanda was opposed to Muslims and was hampering their development. He spoke to the media and said, “Tejashwi Yadav doesn’t want Pasmanda -Muslims and women to get their rights. He is against his upliftment.” The defense of the WAQF (Amendment Act) said it is to ensure the rights of poor and marginalized Muslims, especially the people of Pasmanda, and not to benefit political contractors. He said that the law adopted by Parliament applies to the entire country. Tejashwi Yadav’s government does not come to power. They have no right to stop it. Tejashwi Yadav said earlier that if his government came to power in Bihar, he “will throw this law into the trash”. He said this law is against the Constitution. Giriraj Singh also targeted the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, and described him as ignorant. He said Rahul Gandhi didn’t even understand what he was saying. He was born in the ‘royal family’ and talked without thinking. When Congress Kanhaiya Kumar set forward, Singh said: “Rahul Gandhi doesn’t even have his face, if he makes someone else a face, what will the change be?” He recently mocked Rahul Gandhi’s short visit in Begusarai and said: “Rahul Gandhi has come 45 minutes to make changes in Begusarai? This place is the industrial and political center of Bihar, there is no chance to get a photo.” Giriraj Singh claims that the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi promised to set up a petrochemical plant in Begusarai in 1985, but did nothing. During the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there was an investment of Rs 25,000 crore in petrochemicals here. -Ians PSK/Ekd Share this Story Tags
