After the Israeli attack on Qatar, the demand for Muslim alliance on the lines of NATO, many countries, including India, can raise concern
The Israeli air strike at Doha, the capital of Qatar, created fear in Muslim countries. This is why there is now a question for the formation of a military alliance of Islamic countries such as NATO, which came from Pakistan. Pakistan’s Minister of Defense Khwaja Asif spoke openly about this. Asif said on a Pakistani TV news channel: “I think we should also form a military alliance on the lines of NATO.” It is striking that Pakistan also mentioned such an alliance in a recent meeting of Arab countries. Asif said about this alliance that it will not be against anyone, but for self -defense. He said it would be made defensive instead of being aggressive. Asif further said that it is his idea based on recent developments. This statement from the Pakistani defense minister came to an emergency meeting of Arab and Islamic leaders in Doha on Monday, in which representatives of more than 40 countries participated. The meeting, which was met after the attack on the military alliance on the military alliance at the meeting of Islamic countries, was strongly welcomed for the idea of military alliance such as the NATO for Islamic countries. The only Muslim country Pakistan and his ally Turkey also attended the meeting. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Ishaq also attended the meeting. Ishaq Dar said that Israel should not be allowed to attack and kill Islamic countries. Islamic NATO is threatening India, but the formation of one Arabic Islamic NATO in the presence of Pakistan may be a matter of concern for India. This concern is important because Pakistan has been using multilateral alliances and forums against India for a long time. It used Arabian funding and technology during its economic crisis, while issues such as Kashmir were internationalized by forums such as Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC). Share this story -tags
