Red Alert was issued for heavy rains in Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri districts, where more than 200 mm of rain is likely. There is also a possibility of strong winds and thunderstorms in all districts. On Sunday, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri and Cooch Behar are expected to have very heavy rain, while North Dinajpur will receive heavy rain. Other districts are projected with thunderstorms with thunderstorms and strong winds at a speed of 40 km per hour. On Monday, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Cooch Behar and Alipurdar districts. All districts will have thunderstorms and strong winds.
