Again Today: As rainy rainfall brings about most parts of the country, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings. A red warning for exceptionally heavy rain on June 15 is in place for Tamil Nadu, Goa, Kerala, coastal regions of Maharashtra and Karnataka. An orange warning was particularly issued for Rajasthan, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka. The Weather Agency issued a yellow warning for the remaining states, except for the prediction of dust storm for Rajasthan, heatwave conditions in Punjab and Haryana, and hot and humid weather in Bihar. In his latest weather bulletin, he said: ‘Extremely heavy rainfall (> 20 cm/24 hours) probably at isolated places about Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Coastal Karnataka on the 15th; South Binneland Karnataka on June 14; Kerala & mah ‘until June 16th. Heavy rainfall is expected between June 17 and 19 in Madhya Pradesh in Gujarat until June 20, in Chhattisgarh between June 18 and 20, in Jharkhand on June 17 and 18, and in Odisha over the next two days.
