According to sources, there was a dispute going on between Shree Sai & Datar Company, which looks after the toll operations, and the employees over bonus. A proposal was made by the company to give a bonus of Rs 1100 to the employees, but the employees rejected it. He says this amount is much less compared to his hard work and the bonus given last year. Toll free from midnight 12 employees of Shri Sai and Datar Company protested. Let us tell you that last year another company gave Rs 5000 as bonus to the employees, due to which this time less amount was given, causing dissatisfaction among the employees. As soon as information about the incident was received, company officials and police reached the place and started trying to convince the employees. Krishna Jurail, project manager of the company, said that discussions with the employees are going on and efforts are being made to normalize the situation soon. However, toll operations could not be restored until 09:00 on Sunday. The employees clearly stated that until their demands are met, toll collection will remain stopped.
