This decision was made on Thursday at a meeting of the State Level Management Committee in Jammu. The meeting was attended by the general secretary of the Agriculture Division Shailendra Kumar, commissioner secretary of the Bos Department Sheetal Nanda, the secretary of tribal matters, Prasanna Ramaswamy, along with the scheme, cooperative and senior officials of other departments. The meeting approved the most important central sponsored schemes of the Agriculture Division. These schemes have been approved for the financial year issued under the Agricultural Development Scheme and the National Agricultural Development Scheme. Under the agricultural promotion scheme, focus is on seeds, nutrition, digital agriculture and horticultural development. In addition, the department has estimated a total financial requirement of Rs 20,881,62 Lakh of the central government for the upcoming financial year. This is much higher than the limit of Rs 14,923,00 lakhs mentioned by the center. The meeting will be spent on seeds, with this, at the meeting, 2500 lakhs for agriculture expansion and seeds for seeds, Rs 750,00 lakhs were submitted for approval.
