Akon to act in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai as part of India Tour in November | Mint

Grammy-nominated pop star Akon will return to India this year with a multi-casting concert tour. The singer, known for global hits such as Smack That and Lonely, will perform in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai as part of his India Tour 2025. The tour is arranged by the event company White Foxin partnership with percept live. Akon will take the stage in Delhi on November 9, followed by Bengaluru on November 14, and Mumbai on November 16. Akon, who has a strong fan base in India, especially after borrowing his voice to the popular Bollywood tracks such as Chammak Challo and Criminal of Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.on, expressed his excitement about the tour. ‘India has always shown me so much love – it’s like a second home. The energy, the culture, the fans … it is on another level. I am very excited to be back and act directly. This tour is going to be something special – let’s make history together! ‘ he said in a statement. White Fox co-founder Aman Kumar calls the singer’s return a big event for fans. ‘Bringing Akon back to India is a celebration. This is the night that fans have been waiting. We promise an excessive experience that will be remembered for years, ‘he said. Tickets for the tour will be on general sale from August 10, exclusively in the district by Zomato. HSBC card holders get early access from August 8. Akon and his hit songs known as Akon, Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Puru Nacka Lu Lu Badara Akon Thiam, came up in 2004 after the release of his single “Locked Up”. The Shah Rukh Khan stars film Ra.One’s hit song Chammak Challo was composed with Akon and was included in the Yash Raj Studios.
