Al -tamimi: The Saudi Space Sector is a candidate for growth 13% annually Eastern Economy with Bloomberg

Saudi Arabia expects the growth of the space sector to exceed the world rates locally, resulting in the complex annual increase between 11 and 13% to 2035 compared to 9% worldwide, according to the CEO of the Saudi Space Agency, Mohammed Bin Saud Al -Tamimi. Al -Tamimi indicated in an interview with “Al -Sharq” on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh, that the spaces sector is promising and has many opportunities, and is essential in the Saudi program to diversify the economy, adding that the Kingdom has partnered with the world’s economic forum of the sector. Al -Tamimi pointed out that the scene of the sector worldwide has seen an improvement in its structure over the past four years, as the amount of investment in the sector has risen by more than 30% annually, and the sector access barriers have dropped significantly to a group of reasons, including the low cost of satellite launch, as well as the decline in the cost of manufacturing with more than 70% in the cost of manufacturing.
