Access of external vehicles in the state will be expensive, green strike rates will rise by 30 percent

Access of all private and commercial vehicles that come from outside to Uttarakhand will be expensive. The Cabinet approved the proposal to increase the green strike rate from 28 to 30 percent. Green Cess is already charged with commercial vehicles. The repair for private vehicles from outside states will begin after June 15. Greenkess was retained on vehicles registered under the cabinet decision in the state. Green Cess is already charged with business fees entering Uttarakhand from other states, but after closing the check post in the year 2021, it was not possible to recover Green Cess from the private category vehicles entering the state of other states.
