The actress turned heads during the special performance of Umrao Jaan, dressed in a beautiful Saree inspired by one of Relha’s most iconic appearance from the film Silsila in 1981. Alia’s appearance, dressed in a light pink Saree, was styled by Rhea Kapoor. The soft pink saree, worn with feather earrings and minimal make -up, was clearly inspired by Relha’s graceful appearance in Silsila, where she played the character of Chandni. Alia left her hair open and completed the appearance with dew makeup and won praise for her elegant and classic style. The ‘Raazi’ actress smiles and poses for photographers during the event, where she joined others to celebrate Umrao Jaan, another cult -classical Relha. Stylis Rhea Kapoor also shared photos of Relha’s original appearance in her Instagram stories, confirming the inspiration behind Alia’s outfit. Fashionblad diet Sabya praised the styling on Instagram and wrote: “Recress Mom in Silsila has given us fashion and heart strings for centuries. Eons. Age. Styled by @rheakapoor.” Silsila, directed by Yash Chopra, interpreted Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Relha. Over the years, the songs of the film and the appearance of Rekha have become timeless. Meanwhile, fans are looking forward to the restored version of Umrao Jaan, who will hit theaters on Friday. The 1981 film was restored by the National Film Development Corporation and the National Film Archive of India.
