Fire near Karnal Mini Secretariat, one person injured after hearing in court

On Wednesday afternoon, there was a stir in Karnal’s sector-12 when two cycling fueled offenses fired at a person who came to court for trial. The victim was identified as Happy, a Gharaunda resident. He was standing near the Mini Secretariat and a fruit seller near the court, when the attackers, one of whom, had a helmet, fired several rounds and then escaped from the place. According to eyewitnesses, Happy was fired two bullets and was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent treatment. Another person was also injured in this shooting, which was rushed to a civil hospital. The reasons behind the attack have yet to be determined and police are investigating whether there was an old rivalry between Happy and the shooters. After they shot, the attackers fled to the highway via the open ground. DSP Rajiv Kumar, Sho Civil Lines, Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) reached the place and restored the bullet. Police are now investigating CCTV footage of nearby areas and question road sellers and witnesses to gain important clues. Share this story -tags
