200 Vermilion plants were planted to the Bihar Agricultural University Sabour on the World Environment Day
Bhagalpur, June 5 (IANS). On Thursday, on the occasion of World Environment Day, a large scale plantation of Sindoor (Vermilian) plants within the university campus on the Bihar Agricultural University Sabour was planted. Women’s scientists participated enthusiastically in this campaign. A total of 200 Vermillion plants were planted on this occasion, symbolizing the deep relationship between nature, culture and female power. The Vermilion plant is considered important in the Indian tradition from a cultural and medicinal perspective, and thereby also found the program an emotional and symbolic dimension. Magistrate Naval Kishore Chaudhary, the Bhagalpur magistrate, and his wife Kumari Rajni also reached the opportunity and showed the district administration’s commitment to the Green initiative. The district magistrate also planted trees at the event. Dr. Dr., Vice -Chancellor of the University, is chaired by the program. Singh did it. He said in his speech: “The planting of a tree is not just environmental responsibility, but a promise of the coming generations. This initiative by our female scientists is an inspiring example of tradition and harmony of science.” He said that this plantation campaign is not just a significant step towards environmental protection, but that it also arouses a sense of environmental responsibility in the teaching community and society. A special presentation of the program was given under the title ‘Vermilion, Power and Symbolism’, in which scientists from the University explained the cultural, ecological and symbolic importance of the Vermilion plant. This presentation has given this plantation program an intensive ideological background.
