Minister Thakur has accepted the decline in the level of education in government schools

Education Minister Rohit Thakur acknowledged that the performance of government schools is no better than private schools. However, he claimed that the state government is committed to increasing the standard of education in government schools. He addressed a meeting on Friday after worshiping Bhumi Pujan of Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School in Night Rota Bagwan in the Kangra district. He was accompanied by Raghuveer Bali, MLA van Nagrota Bagwan and Vice President of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Corporation. He said that in the last few years there has been a decline in the level of education in government schools. In this context, the government decided to build Rajiv Gandhi Day food school in various places in the Hill state. These schools will bridge the gap between government and private schools. The minister said that these schools will be built in an excellent building with modern facilities, playgrounds, laboratories, etc. “The main purpose of the construction of these schools is to attract more students and provide better education than private schools,” he said. Thakur said: “We have already awarded Rs 2.50 crore for this school in Nagrota Bagwan, whose construction work will soon begin.” The minister said that a total of Rs 5 crore will be spent on the construction of this school. He said that such schools will be built in all 68 meetings of the state, but in the first phase the government decided to build 18 schools, five of which started construction work. In the results of class 10 declared by Himachal Pradesh School Education Council on Thursday, 97 students from private schools finish first in the merit list. Only 20 students from government school were successful in coming to the first ten places. This is a major difference between private and government schools regarding the level of education, which the Minister of Education himself accepted in a public speech today. Share this story -tags
