American Energies Secretary told India 'Magnificent Ally', appealing to energy relationships

He emphasized the need to further deepen energy cooperation between the two countries. Wright addressed a press conference in New York and described India as ‘fast -growing energy -dynamic society’. He said: “When I took over my position, I worked a lot of time with India. India is the largest democracy in the world, a great ally of America, a rapidly developing economy and a vibrant society, where the demand for energy is also growing rapidly with wealth and opportunities. I am a big fan of India.” We love India. ” His statement comes at a time when Trade and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal also called to expand India-American energy trade. In an energy security program held in New York, Goyal emphasized the growing collaboration to nuclear energy as a cheap clean energy option and encouraging new renewable energy businesses. Wright also called “tension” on the issue of India’s buying oil from Russia, saying that President Donald Trump is using his influence and means to end the war. He said, “We want this war to end. I am confident that Indians also want the same.” The energy secretary has made it clear that the US wants to increase collaboration with India in areas such as natural gas, coal, nuclear power, cleaning fuel and liquid petroleum gas (LPG). He said: “India has done remarkable work in this area. We want more energy trade and collaboration with India.” Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also indicated on Tuesday that the Trump administration could be ready to “improve” the additional 25 percent rates imposed Russia for Oil purchase from Russia. In an interview to NBC News, Rubio said: “The additional fee we set to India is a close partner. We hope it can be corrected.” In a conversation with ABC News, he described India as the ‘very close partner’ of America. At the same time, Foreign Minister Sk Jaishankar met Rubio on Monday.
