Amitabh Bachchan saluted the sportsmanship of the Jaipur Pink Panthers team and paid respect to the late manager

New Delhi, October 24 (IANS). Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan hailed the sportsmanship of his son and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan’s Kabaddi team Jaipur Pink Panthers and also paid tribute to the team’s young assistant manager Vedant Devadiga. The actor took to Instagram to cheer on the team. Amitabh Bachchan posted on social media about the Jaipur Pink Panthers (JPP) team, in which he saluted the sportsmanship of the team. The players wear a band with Vedant’s name on their forehead and play in the field. He wrote in the caption, “Team JPP, we lost our assistant manager in a sudden tragic death. We gave the team the option not to play and gave a walkover in honor of the deceased, but the team played in his honor. Wore a headband with his name in his memory. People die, not sportsmanship.” Jaipur Pink Panthers had a match with Patna Pirates on Thursday and Patna Pirates defeated JPP but the team worked hard and dedicated this match to Assistant Manager Vedant Devadiga. Let us tell you that Vedant from JPP team died on 21st October i.e. the day of Diwali. Vedant was said to have died of a heart attack. The team expressed grief over the death on social media. The team wrote: “The Jaipur Pink Panthers family is extremely saddened by the untimely demise of our Assistant Manager, Vedant Devadiga. He was a beloved member of our family, his passion and dedication will be sorely missed.” At the same time, during Diwali, another Kabaddi team U Mumba also lost its young player. However, the reason for his death has not been disclosed. Talking about the match, the match between Jaipur Pink Panthers and Haryana Steelers will be held at the Thyagaraj Stadium Complex on Saturday at 8 PM.
