There is good news for passengers in Mumbai because they will soon be able to use the same pass to travel in different public transport, which is available in the city through the upcoming ‘Mumbai One’ card. This integrated travel pass will be introduced in Mumbai after a month and will cover the entire Mumbai metropolitan region. In this regard, Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, announced the plan of the State Government on Friday to launch the ‘Mumbai One’ smart card to streamline public transport in the city. The announcement on the integrated smart card was announced by Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnav after reviewing the Railway’s on board. How will Mumbai Forest Card help daily passengers? After launching in the city, the Mumbai Forest Card will provide regular passengers of the same integrated map to all modes of transport, including Mumbai metro, best buses and local trains in Mumbai, instead of different tickets for each mode. For the transportation facility, the entire master plan is drawn up within a month, after which the state government will officially launch cards for passengers. Fadnavis, which gives more information about the Mumbai One Card, said the smart card will be a game changer for the uninterrupted journey in the MMR sector and will put an end to the end of Mumbaikars, which will lead to revolutionary change in the way Mumbai. He further said that the role of Indian Railways in this regard is most important in all other means of transport, and he thanks the Minister of Railways for the Union for all the necessary consent.
