Jakarta -Deputy Chairman of the Commission Vi DPR RI of the Gerindra fraction, Andre Rosiade, who is also a football lover, has opened the U -12 national soccer championships between SSB, Primary Schools and Academic in Indonesia in the Eastern Soccer Field, Pariaman City. Andre appreciates the steps taken by Pariaman Mayor Yota Balad, which started this national football championship. For Andre, this activity is very important in the context of the development of young Indonesian footballers. “With the activities held by the Mayor of Pariaman, Mr. Yota Balad, as a football lover, I support the steps that Mr Yota Balad took,” Andre said in a written statement, Wednesday (8/10/2025) to continue with content as a form of support, Andre gave 25 million to the national championship. This means that the national championship will have a total price of 51 million IDR, as there were already 26 million IDR before. “We asked him earlier that the total price RP was 26 million. We added another 25 million RP, so the total price RP. Was 51 million,” said the General Chairman of the Minang Family Association (ICM). “It is part of our appreciation for the steps taken by the Pariaman City Government to provide youth development in Western Sumatra,” he continued. Mayor of Pariaman, Yota Balad, said this activity is aimed at finding soccer players in Indonesia, especially in Pariaman City. “According to Pariaman’s vision and mission, we are committed to making Pariaman City a tourist destination. At the same time, we will perform this national football championship activity,” Yota said. Yota said that the city government of the Pariaman is trying to develop sports, not just football. He explained that his party encourages this activity to be held regularly every year. “We will encourage this activity regularly every year. We are also not only for football, but also to the development of other sports in Pariaman City,” says Yota. The opening of the KU-12 National Soccer Championship was characterized by a kick on the purpose of Andre and Yota. A total of 65 teams from West Sumatra, Northern Sumatra, Palembang, Jambi and Bengkulu participated in this national championship.
