He alleged that Gangotri MLA Suresh Chauhan’s nephew Akash Chauhan has been appointed to the post of Junior Engineer (JE) in the Disaster Management Authority, whose salary is Rs 35,000 per month. Bobby Panwar, former president of the unemployed organization, said that information about this recruitment was sought under the Right to Information Act 2025. The information received revealed that no advertisement was issued to fill this post, nor was any investigation or interview conducted. The MLA’s nephew was directly appointed to this post. This is corruption, the appointment should be cancelled. Posting about this on Facebook, Bobby Panwar, former president of the Uttarakhand Unemployed Organization, called it corruption and demanded that such recruitment be canceled immediately.
