Anubhav Sinha expressed his concern about OTT and theater, says viewers will decide what kind of theater will be made in India

Mumbai, October 4 (IANS). Famous film director Anubhav Sinha expressed his opinion on Saturday about the changing phase of the theater and OTT platforms. He posted a video on social media and raised serious questions about the depth of films and the role of the audience. The director says that earlier people went out of the theaters earlier after watching the film, and the effect of the film remained on them for a long time. At the same time, some films like poems have remained in our minds, but in the present -day era, this depth is lost somewhere in the race of OTT platforms. Anubhav posted a video on Instagram in an interview. He said: “The purpose of OTT is not ambitious. His goal is to spend more time on his platforms. It is a strange struggle where the audience has to decide what they want to see.” Sinha insisted that the audience look small, but such a film in theaters, coming out. He said, “If you see everything on YouTube or on any OTT platform, you discourage filmmakers who want to say deep stories.” Anubhav described the audience as decisive for the future of the theater. He said: “The audience is on the driver’s seat. They will decide what kind of theater will be made in India.” The director posted the video and gave the headline: “Some movies speak. She does not offer laughter, imitation or song. She wants to communicate with society. You remember how much of your favorite films, you remember the collection or review? She sat in your heart just because she touched you.” Sinha called on the audience to promote theater. He said: “The audience will decide what Bollywood will do.
