Users will be able to complain against the random of Meta and Twitter, taking into account the formation of government committees

Tech News Desk – The Government is considering drafting an appeal committee of three complaints (GAC) to investigate the user’s complaints against the decisions made by the Internet Media platform. Apart from this, this committee will also give advice on many other issues related to this area. The formation of these committees directly means the prevention of the will of these companies regarding content and to decide the liability of any decision. Simply put, these committees will revise the contents of contents of companies such as Meta and Twitter. These committees can also convert the decisions of major technology companies if needed. Sources in the Ministry of Information Technology said the process of counseling in these committees will begin from January. Sources said such appeals would be presented to these committees, recently recorded as harmful material mentioned in the revised IT rules. Broadly, appeals sent to these committees can have complaints related to pornography, fake news and religious stimulation. The government has added offensive religious material to pornography, trademark violations, fake news and materials that could be a threat to the country’s sovereignty. Share this story
