Apple CEO Tim Cook has kicked off the annual Apple WWDC Conference (Getty Images via AFP) ‘s summary of Apple’s WWDC 2025 unveiled transformative updates on its platforms, including the beautiful’ Liquid Glass’ interface, new AI features and an improved Multitasing capacity, but a worldwide Developer Conference (This is in the name) announcements and updates offer a highlight in the next generation features that will soon come to an Apple brand product near you. Whether you use an iPhone, a Mac, a watch or Apple TV, the annual event in Cupertino (June 9-13) serves as a Zeitgeist, a barometer of how we will use our personal technology in the coming year … even if the game is higher than usual with the most important Siri AI functions expressed after the coming year. We have through the announcements of the announcements to bring you all the things that are of WWDC 2025, from Cupertino, California. The ‘Liquid Glass’ interface overhaul of Apple’s last significant interface overhaul returned in 2013 with iOS7, thus the new appearance “Liquid Glass” interface inspired by the glossy, translucent interface elements used in Visionos on Apple’s Vision Pro VR/AR-Headset will be a significant change over to change the now-hazardous navigation. Consumers who upgrade to the new iOS/Macos later this year will have a more lens-like appearance with speculary highlights and dynamic movements, while changing the viewing angle, all of which look beautiful in the initial use cases demonstrated over the iOS lock screen and the Macos onion. With the Unified Design language on all its platforms, Apple has also changed how it will indicate the most important updates each year, which will now be numbered based on the year after their launch, a bit like car manufacturers with new car emissions. Say hello to iOS 26, iPados 26, Macos Tahoe 26, Watchos 26 and TVOS 26! Apple’s paid some attention to the ‘phone’ in the upcoming iOS 26. Everything very useful, but the most interesting feature is vibrant translation that, as the name suggests, will offer the fly translation over phone, messages and Facetime apps-who bring live newspapers into your standard language on a Facetime call if you speak to someone in another language, add a spoken translation, or speak the message of the person’s preferences. When we talk about messages, the app now offers adaptable backgrounds, polls and typing indicators, all somewhat delayed additions, but if combined with the generative AI rewriting/summary instruments, the app brings the app to a modern specification. IPad Os Multi-Tasking gets more Mac-like Apple’s tablets slowly but surely over the years to Macos-Esque-Multi Task, and iPados 26 will make major changes, especially around multi-task. Along with a new, more exact mouse pointer, there is a new window system through which you can change the size of the full screen programs to Windows, a new persistent menu at the top of the screen, and a new multi-task (Exposé, borrowed from Macos) that shows your thumbnails from open windows so you can choose the one you want. The Files app on iPados now looks more closely like scrolling the Macos file, with the ability to drag files/guides on the dock, and the preview of the Mac is on his way to the iPad to edit PDFs, to annotate images and documents. We may not have found the touch screen Mac that we have asked for all these years, but the iPad looks like it’s close enough … in anything but name. Macos gets a shot in the arm for power users Macos’s Spotlight Search feature is to get a very overdue upgrade because it can search well and open things. It can do things now. Once apps provide access to spotlight to individual actions within the app, such as playing music, sending Ne -mail, you can then call these actions without leaving the home screen, some Apple Intelligence -pack AI agents of the competition that help consumers get things done. And finally, we have Macos that retains your clipboard history, ready to access, even if you have copied something more recently! Elsewhere, Apple makes the shortcut capability better, allowing it to access different AI models (including chatgpt) to achieve what you are trying to do. Apple also brings the phone and the newly announced game app to Macos 26, along with support for the live activities of the iPhone. Watchos 26 -training sessions get a new partner apart from the Liquid Glass -Make -Up on all platforms, and Apple Watch users upgraded to Watchos 26 later this year a new workout, using Apple Intelligence and your fitness history to give you Pep talks with a summary of your practice statistics. On a turn, for example, it can mean a Pep talk during your warm -up and suggestions to pick up your pace during the run, and how you can cool off. In addition, there is a new gesture of the wrist disk to reject notifications, and the Notes app also makes an appearance so you can access all your notes and create new on your wrist. Apple Intelligence Open, although the Updates on Apple Intelligence Light, Apple has announced a reasonable shift in how third-party programs can access the large language model on the device used by Apple Intelligence. By giving developers direct access to the models, programs can now use the entire range of intelligence experiences locally on the device without the associated cost per transaction to access the LLM via the Cloud API (application programming interface). Handier for people like you and me – you can look for everything you see on your screen using Visual Intelligence/Chatgpt, in a move that doesn’t completely differ from Google’s circle to seek the ability. Apple’s updates on all its platforms are currently in a developer beta and will be released to consumers later this year (typically September).
