Modi government has postponed caste -sensus again, postponed it to 2027: Manikam Tagore
New -Delhi, June 4 (IANS). The leader of Congress Manikam Tagore on Wednesday questioned the decision of the central government to carry out cabinets census. He asked in a post on social media platform X why Prime Minister Narendra Modi is afraid to tell the truth about OBC? Manikam Tagore said the modes of the modes delayed the cabinets census again. Now it has been postponed to 2027! OBCs are a big part of India, but we don’t have real information about their population or needs. Why delay? He said BJP OBC wants to vote. However, OBC refuses to give their rights. Without cabinets, there can be no fair policy, no discussion can be amended and no targeted well -being. PM Modi is afraid of the truth – because it threatens the status quo. So they delay. He praised Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and said he was the only national leader demanding caste census and fighting for OBC rights. Their message is clear: “As much as the population, the right!” – Representation based on the population. Manikam Tagore said it is not administration – it is suppression. Caste -sensus deals with justice, respect and equal opportunities. Its delay is betrayal with the OBC of India. Please tell when the caste census will be revealed in the country. This census is performed in two phases. The first phase begins on October 1, 2026. The second phase begins on 1 March 2027. In the first phase, caste census is presented in four states. This includes the hilly regions of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. The last census in the country took place in 2011. After this, the census would be held in 2021, but due to the corona epidemic, it was postponed and then it was still postponed. -Ians shk/ekd shares this story tags
