As a grand alliance, hungry for power, Ashok Gehlot has failed as an election strategist: Madan Rathod
Jaipur, October 24 (IANS). Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore on Friday targeted India Alliance and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. He said that the India alliance has no clear policy or any ideological basis. He claimed that the alliance was driven purely by ‘hunger for power’ and lacked a vision for the nation. BJP leader Madan Rathore said that the only objective of the India alliance is to grab power at any cost. Development and public welfare are nowhere on their agenda. It is an unequal and opportunistic alliance, bound not by trust but by convenience. Those who used to be political rivals now share a platform just to satisfy their hunger for power. He said that this grand alliance does not have a concrete program for development, good governance or improving the lives of ordinary citizens. He said that the people of Bihar have understood this truth and will not be misled by such an alliance. Madan Rathore termed the Grand Alliance declaring Tejashwi Yadav as the CM face as a ‘political gimmick’ designed to confuse the voters. He said that his Chief Minister’s face is just a temptation to gain power through fraud. No one knows when this alliance will be betrayed. It lacks credibility and consistency. Taking a dig at Ashok Gehlot, BJP leader Madan Rathod said that Gehlot may be skilled in politics but he has failed miserably in making election strategy. Wherever the Congress made itself an electoral strategist, the BJP ended up taking advantage. The Congress faced defeat under his leadership in Gujarat and Maharashtra and now that he has been sent to Bihar, the results will once again favor the BJP. –IANS MS/DKP Share this story Tags
