Kepahiang – A public servant (ASN) in Bengkulu, Vita Melia, who went viral for the Qur’an, will report her ex -friend to police. Vita said the video of her step on the Qur’an was distributed by her ex-boyfriend and became viral. Vita, who was reported by Detiksumbagsel, on Wednesday (15/10/2025) admitted that she made the video at the request of her ex-boyfriend. At the time, he met the wishes of his ex -girlfriend as proof that he was not cheating on her. Vita sends the video to her ex-boyfriend. “I was accused of having a relationship by bringing another man into my house. I denied the accusation, but it still doesn’t believe unless I dare to step on the holy book (al-Qur’an), that’s what my boyfriend asked for,” Vita said. He immediately received criticism from many people. “I first found out that the video was viral after being called by police. I didn’t share the video on social media. I was currently breaking up with my boyfriend. I’m sure this video was spread by my ex -girlfriend. I would report this video to the police,” he explained.
