Assam Rifles is considered 'Friend of the North East': Arunachal Governor

Itanagar, October 13 (IANS). Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Lieutenant General (RETD) KT. He presented the gold and silver medals of the Governor to the Assam Rifles Jawans during a major investment ceremony held on Monday at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Itanagar. 21 General Service staff of Assam Rifles, including a rifle woman, were honored by the governor for their extraordinary courage, skill and leadership ability during operations and humanitarian missions. He said that Assam Rifles in the hearts of the people of the Northeast is not just a security force, but a family, who is respected and respected as the ‘friend of the North East’.
