Jagran correspondent, badshahpur. The district court sentenced two officers to 10-10 years convicted in the case of eclipse of Rs 5.27 Lakh by making false accounts. The court also imposed a fine on both. The case is related to the payment of wages for development works under the Hariyali project in 2006. Assistant Land Conservation Officer Ashok Kumar and Junior Engineer Jasbir Singh had in collusion and took out the amount of the government by preparing workers of workers. After the investigation into the complaint, Vigilance filed a charge sheet against both. The court sentenced the court to a long trial. The court said that the abuse of government money is a serious offense and that the benefits of schemes from such corruption do not reach the ordinary man. The court also imposed a fine of five thousand rupees on the Assistant Land Conservation Officer and Junior Engineer.
