6.2% increase in turnover of large Chinese cultural enterprises in the first quarter

Beijing, April 29 (IANS). According to the data released by the Chinese National Statistics Bureau, the operational income of large Chinese cultural enterprises and related industries in the first quarter was 33 trillion 93 billion 90 million Yuan, which rose 6.2% from the same period last year and the growth rate was 0.2 percent higher than the whole year of 2024. Operational revenue of 9 trillion 41 billion 70 million yuan, which is an increase of 1.6% from the same period last year. The cultural wholesale and retail industry earns operating income of 5 trillion 95 billion 30 million yuan, which is an increase of 3.3%. The cultural service industry acquired the operation of 18 trillion 56 billion 90 million yuan, which is an increase of 9.7%. Jang Fung, senior statistician at the Department of Social Sciences and Culture of the Bureau of Chinese National Statistics, said cultural services were 54.7% of the operating income of major cultural enterprises in the first quarter, which was 1.7 percent of the points from the same period of the previous year and its contribution to 83% in the growth of all important cultural enterprises.
